We offer the broadest range of high-performance polymers on the market today. Our depth and breadth of products allows us to offer you a solution to your design and systems needs.

Engineered for use in especially harsh environments, our resins can be injection molded, vacuum formed, or machined into products designed for a variety of demanding applications. KMI Group continues to develop its engineering polymers to meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Polymers and Plastic Resins. The two main categories of engineering polymers are amorphous and semi-crystalline. Our sulfone polymers fit into the amorphous category. These resins are generally transparent, feature high dimensional stability, and have good chemical resistance and toughness. Semi-crystalline polymers are usually opaque, chemically resistant, and have good fatigue resistance. Our ultra-performance polymers have exceptional performance attributes in specific areas.

Polymers are large macromolecules consisting of long chains of one or more repeating units known as monomers. The chain lengths, end group chemistry, morphology and processing history can all have a significant effect on the character of a polymer, i.e. what it can be used for.

KMI Group offers the following resin and polymer material:

PVC, PP, HDPE, HIPS, PS, PC, Acrylic, Nylon, PBT, PET, EVA, PC/ABS, ABS, PPS, PPA, TPO, TPV, TPE, TPU, PA10, PA11, PA6/6/12, PA6/6, PA6, PA612, POM, PSU, LCP, PEEK, ASA, LDPE, Acetal Copolymer, EI, PSU, EPDM, SBR, SBS, Nitrile, SEBS, Silicone, Butyl and many other engineering resins.
