Engineered for use in especially harsh environments, our resins
can be injection molded, vacuum formed, or machined into products
designed for a variety of demanding applications. KMI Group
continues to develop its engineering polymers to meet the
evolving needs of our customers.
The two main categories of engineering polymers are amorphous
and semi-crystalline. Our sulfone polymers fit into the amorphous
category. These resins are generally transparent, feature
high dimensional stability, and have good chemical resistance
and toughness. Semi-crystalline polymers are usually opaque,
chemically resistant, and have good fatigue resistance. Our
ultra-performance polymers have exceptional performance attributes
in specific areas.
